Our production of ‘Christmas Crackers’ runs from Thursday 11th December to Sunday 14th December. Entry by koha, with all proceeds to Christian World Service.

Drama Christi invites you to the reading of our upcoming production ‘Christmas Crackers’, a collection of short plays and musical interludes on missing the point of Christmas. We have parts for all ages, plus several backstage roles to fill. 7:30pm Monday 6th of October, at Drama Christi Studios, 75 Taranaki St.

Over the next four Mondays we will be reading scripts with a view to performing one of them next year. All welcome, including new members.

Our winter production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream opens this Friday. Door sales available (cash only), or reserve a seat to avoid disappointment.

We’re looking for some young actors to play the part of fairies in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. There are very few lines and the main requirement of the roles are to accompany Titania and Oberon Queen and King of the fairies on stage, with dance-type movement and a song. We’d like boys or girls aged 10 plus.

Rehearsals for A Midsummer Night’s Dream begin on April 28th. We still have a few male and female roles available so let us know if you’re keen to take the stage. We also have some roles for children, around 7 to 12 years old.

Thank you to everyone that attended our play reading of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. We are meeting again on Monday 14th April at 7.30pm to read through selected parts, to further assist with casting. All welcome, including new members.
