Christmas Visions

Drama Christi’s newest theatrical treat: ‘Christmas Visions’, will be performed on Thursday November 24th & Friday 25th at 7:30pm, and Saturday November 26th & Sunday 27th at 4pm at the Drama Christi Studio.

Christmas Visions contains two short plays with two very different ways of telling the Christmas Story. A Child Shall Lead Them has children in an art gallery looking at four paintings by Rembrandt, and discussing different aspects of the nativity story.

Meanwhile, The Second Shepherd’s Play is a modern translation of a York Circle medieval mystery play, and was written to dramatise and contextualise the story for an illiterate audience.

Both plays are accessible and funny.
